Price increases for the 2015.....
Ford has announced the price increases for their aluminum intensive 2015 F-150's and they are huge.
Although the Lariat base price only went up $895, the KR went up over $3,500 and the Platinum over $3,000..........open your wallet folks if you want one of the higher end models.......although Ford did say that massaging seats are now part of those packages, so maybe that will relax you when you see your new higher payment.

Also, I think the price to insure them will go up. If you get in an accident and have to get work done on the aluminum....it's gonna get expensive. I'm sure insurance companies will raise premiums.
I've owned two vehicles that were first model year. Never again. They were all sorts of problematic. I might pick up a '16 or something.

Looking at the article, it seems like the base models got a modest bump in price, so I'm curious to see if they have been decontented to cover a large price in aluminum, or if the King and Platinum base prices include more "premium features". I guess I'm saying that I'd like see a like vs. like before I really believe it's the aluminum driving the price increases to that degree.

"Spokesman Mike Levine claims the higher prices are due to better standard features across the entire lineup, rather than a representation of aluminum costs"
"The new Lariat commands an $895 premium over the 2014 edition, though an eight-inch infotainment system and backup camera are now included as standard equipment. At the top, buyers will have to dish out an extra $3,615 to buy the new King Ranch, which is now just a few hundred shy of $50,000"
