in 2012 I built the garage around my truck. Wish I would have built a 3 car garage. I'm sure if I did I would wish for a quad. That's life right. Think if I stay here I'll build a shed and put the wood shop in there.

Few inches to spare. I do have a third garage downstairs that is about 2 feet longer but I use it to store my mower and stuff

My new SuperCab with 6.5' bed fits good enough I can walk around the back of it, but I had to do some major clean-up and organizing on my side of the garage to get it to fit. My '94 still sits outside as it has for the past 8 years.

If height is the problem you should be able to adjust the door to open more.
Mine fits fine with a standard door. I have no modes on my truck.

Around here 24 x 24 is considered a "standard" 2 car garage - but that's too small......especially if you have even a modest amount of other "garage stuff". I strongly urge anyone contemplating building a new garage to consider 26 x 26 minimum (if you have the room, of course). Adding a bit more size does not increase cost proportionally. I have 3 heated bays under my house for the wife's car, a couple of Miatas, and some other motor toys. Built a detached garage for my truck and boats - 28x32.

My daughter and son-in-law built a beautiful new home a few years ago, but the plans they used incorporated a silly 20x20 "two car garage". I really encouraged them to modify the plan slightly but my son-in-law didn't want to get into any changes with their builder. Anyway, within 4 years they were desperate to add a detached garage. I designed it for them and they are extremely pleased with it. It is 30w x 32l >>> just right lol!

edited to add: 1) if height is a concern consider 10' high walls over standard 8'. Again. not a huge cost increase because slab and roof size don't change..... and 2) consider trussed construction to eliminate the need for interior posts. No posts = more flexibility for space utilization. We did this on both of our garages mentioned above and used 9/12 roof pitch to create nice open 14'x32' rooms upstairs for storage, misc. use, etc.

Truck looks great. More details!

Ok, to stay on topic.....last house I had 2 inches to spare. New house I moved into last month is 26x32, so luckily I'm in the clear. When looking for a new house, an oversized garage was a requirement. Wife hated that as it limited our options quite a bit!

I have an oversized 2 car garage. Camaro on one side, truck on the other. Plus multiple shelving units, a log splitter, 1800 sq ft of hardwood flooring waiting to be installed, etc. I have to put the mirrors in to get the truck through the door opening, which is a pain because it means I have to get out of the truck. It barely fits with all the other crap in there. Gotta do some major spring rearranging and removal.
