Does anyone know how to access or open the cover behind rear view mirror. I,m trying to wire up Radar detector so I don't have wires hanging down.

Just guessing but I would think you don't have to open the mirror. I have an "Invisicord" on one of my cars to power an Escort radar detector suspended just below the mirror. ( http://www.invisicord.com/ ) The Invisicord has needle-like "probes" that push into the wiring plug on the appropriate wires. I'm totally unfamiliar but this might give you a clue.

I'm having a real hard time using my voltage meter trying to figure where to plug in the prongs. I have the autodimmer mirror with 16 holes. What would happen if I plugged into random holes?
