Are the active grill shutters only closed when the AC compressor is off? If so, mine will never be closed (live in FL, AC on 364.5 days a year).

No they are active. They work to keep the engine at an optimum temperature by controlling the air flow through the radiator. They are open full when A/C is on so that the condenser has proper airflow.

Just because someone can type it doesn't mean it is true. I wouldn't worry about increased drag due to the shutters being open. Just enjoy your truck

Ha, I was not overly worried about it. Simply curious if the shutters would close with the AC compressor going. I am averaging a mixed driving 21 mpg currently and pleased / enjoying the truck immensely (3.5 EB, 3.55 EL, 2WD).

Assuming you're talking about the windshield defrost & not the rear/mirror defrost.

Unlock the spare tire.
Use the voice command "Five Day Forecast" or any of these: http://support.ford.com/sync-technol...ync-navigation
If you are pulling forward into a parking spot, activate the 360 camera with the button on the dash (1 push) and use the grey lines in the birds eye view to line up the sides and front with the pavement markings. The front grey line on the display will line up nicely with the pavement marking to ensure you have pulled all the way into the space without going too far in.
Activate it using the button on the center console. Once activated, it will remain active at higher speeds even after restarting vehicle. An indication will appear in the instrument cluster.
You may want to consider changing the standard instrument cluster along the top of the display to replace the transmission temperature gauge with the turbo boost gauge. This will be visible on all pages of the instrument cluster. The transmission temperature gauge is still accessible by going to the truck information tab of the instrument cluster. You can change it in the Advanced Settings page.
how do you get the boost guage on your instrument cluster?

If you have a factory FI engine its in the vehicle menu. If you have an NA factory engine you have to turn it on with Forscan.

I believe you also have to have the upgraded cluster. Not an option on my 2.7 with the 4" XLT cluster.

When looking at the bed from the back, near the first LED light on the left side there is a black square. This button turns the lights on and off. Difficult to see with a black bed liner.
There's a switch in the cab? Is that only for certain models? I have a 2016 xlt sport. Thanks
