Front bar installed. Pretty simple. Supplied bar mounts do not seem as good as factory ones. Use keepers next to them to keep the bar from moving side to side. End link positions now closer to front shafts to the wheels. Factory bar positioned farther away.
Driving:
Not a big difference as the rear one was. It does seem a bit tighter but not really enough to justify the change. I thought the original was hollow but it was solid also. The original was lighter and thinner. Steering seems to center quicker and drives straighter with a bit less twitching. Does corner pretty flat. I will push it later to its limits and see what happens. Truck barely leans in turns but the rear bar corrected almost all of that. The rear bar is in the softest position (front holes) I could move it to the rear stronger holes, but i don't think it would get much flatter cornering. Ride in a straight line did not change. No new noises. I'm happy with it but in the end the rear bar is about all you need. Front bar money would be better used on better shocks. If the towing package gets the stronger front bar, then an upgrade is probably not needed.

Well I have been running about 100 miles now with the front bar installed. It does make a difference. Lane changes are crisp is the best way to describe it. When turning and expecting a little lean, it is not there. It seems to make the truck feel lighter than it is. I have a huge back lot at my warehouse. I did some really hard figure 8's and the truck was neutral. Sort of go cart like. The harder and faster I turned, the truck seemed to shrug it off as nothing and just went where pointed. The harder you push it, the better it performs. I wasn't sure at first of the benefits of the front bar install. The more I run, the more I like it. Highway lane changes under acceleration are like snap-snap - done without any side to side loading and unloading of the suspension. There just isn't any roll. This is even with about 800lbs in the bed all of the time with tools, generators, air compressor and extra batteries that I carry. No way would I go back to stock.

Default HELLWIG rear sway bars

Hey I just got mine at AutoAnything.com the rear Hellwig sway bars for $273.95 free shipping. The reason for that price because they price matched and $25 off the price of SDTruckSprings.com $299.95 less $25 off.

This is not my truck but looks like this when it's on.

I have a 6" lift kit...is there anything additional that I'd have to buy? How much more? Also, does it really make a difference???

If you call 800-663-1570 extension 267 - talk to Ali and she'll get you all handled with the price match.
Just ordered mine as well.

Sorry if this info resides somewhere, but I don't see it. What is the Hellwig kickback? I ordered my rear anti-sway from SD TruckSprings for $299.95, but was not aware of any rebates. Maybe it's too late, but any advice/info would be appreciated.

Also have a 6" BDS. You need the longer links, that's it. Between this bar and Fox2.0 rear shocks with lift completely different ride. Almost no bed hop when empty. No body roll - I also have the Tow package so it came with thicker front sway bar already. Did a 800 mile road trip this weekend with 5 people and 700 lbs in bed - very sturdy, no body roll.
