Default Hello!

Hey everyone, new guy here! I've been lurking for the past 8 months, and just picked up my new truck the other day! I figured there is no time like the present to join.

Anyways, I love the truck! I've previously had two F-150s; a '97 XLT and an '04 Lariat. Both were fantastic pickups. I originally set out to get another Lariat, but (besides the leather) the 2.7 XLT Sport 302A I found was everything my '04 Lariat was, and then some. It's exactly what I wanted. At 12k off msrp, I couldn't say no! Soon it will have Bilsteins, a Bak Revolver X2, and a full set of Wade floor mats. Some pics:

Thanks to everyone who has shared their experience over the past year, it has proven invaluable to me as I shopped for the perfect truck.

Thanks! I'm a fan. My father bought a Lariat scab 2.7 back in June, and I was fighting the urge ever since I took that first ride in it. I couldn't take it anymore.

Thanks! So far, it's been great. I've been pulling 20.5-21 MPG on mixed highway and country roads. It's only got 400 miles currently, so I'm hoping it will stay there, or perhaps even do a little better. In my opinion, these are the best trucks Ford has produced to date.
