Hid bulbs are worthless without a projector. (1) you would blind oncoming traffic (2) your light pattern would be scattered without projectors

I'm having trouble getting my lame license plate bulbs out. Looks like there are clamps holding the bulb inside the fixture. Do I need to pry the clamps back and pull?

The license plate bulbs are pretty tight. They are push in and pull out bulbs. All you need to do is pull them straight out.

Clarification, I was talking about the "Bulb" held in the socket, as in steps 3 and 4 above.

I was pulling on them pretty hard...was actually afraid I'd break the bulb between my fingers if I tried any harder. Guess I'll try again tonight, I hate that yellow glow.

I felt the same way, that they would crush in my fingers. Gentle persistence and they will come out.

Success! The passenger side was a bitch to get out...really had to wiggle and pull quite a few times. I thought for sure I was going to break the bulb. The drivers side came right out with little effort. Guess I should have started on that side eh?

Thanks for the help folks!
