2015 model, bought in March 2015. Never had an issue, and it's never made any noise. It's open pretty much every day in the summer.

2016 Lariat and the rattle started after 10K miles in the late fall so the roof had been closed for a month. I can mitigate the noise (for a week or so) by opening the sun roof all the way and closing it -- which is a bit of a pain in the middle of an Ottawa winter.

You should never ever open the moonroof when it's winter! You're gonna break it...

2015 platinum 14,500 miles no issues. seems like the issues i've read about have all been from colder temperatures. I'm in Florida so lots of rain with no leaks, but i can't speak for freezing temps

2015 Platinum with 16K miles. Popping sound before and after TSB. Will try "slick tape" when it warms up here in northern IL.

I have never heard of this... But I live in North West Florida and the winters are very minimal.

'16 Lariat with 2400 miles on the clock-Apr '16 build. No problems with moonroof but headliner does not fit tight to the rear of moonroof, approx. 3/8" gap. Dealership body shop been in contact with Ford to figure out why,not just a warped headliner frame.I was told about at least 80% of moonroofs have the headliner problem, a lot people either don't notice the gap or just choose to live with it. Hopefully Ford guru's figure out what the problem is with all those trucks out there.
