Default Has anyone added oem fender flares?

If you can really even call them that. I'm just wondering if they need 3m tape or do they just attach with push pins and screws?

Are the sold by Ford already painted?

Something like this is what I'm talking about.

these are factory take offs. they have about 12ish body pins per flare. if your vehicle did not come with these originally they will not fit your truck.

Yup. Removed factory clips and just used the mounting points on the inside edges. Got these OEM takeoffs from Roush. Fit great and have held up fine through plenty of drive through washes.

So I have one saying they'll fit and one saying they won't. Redalty, they look good.

Gentz, why do say they won't fit? I'm assuming the push pins just mount into the plastic wheel well liner and not the aluminum fender. Then again, maybe I'm worng.

They will fit, just use the push pins on the bottom lip of the fender.

They will fit if you cut the pins off the fender flare or you drill multiple holes in the side of your new truck.

Can you advise how you sourced them from Roush? I have them on my truck and on the right rear the paint is damaged. Guessing it will be cheaper to replace then to have someone try and touch up the paint.

Thanks,

Doug

I cut the pins off the flare and drilled the bottom of the fender lip, no holes in the side of my truck. I bought mine off Ebay.

alright so they will fit IF you cut all the pins/clips off the back of the flares like stated above. If your looking for something you can take out of the box and double sided tape/ clip on then these will not be the route you want to take. sorry I could have made that clearer in the beginning.

I did this slight adjustment to my clips for my 2013 XLT I had. Only thing you have to make sure of when you cut the pin off is that when you put the double sided tape on, make sure it looks like the surface of the tape sticks out as far as the edge of the fender flare. On my 2013, I only need one piece of tape. I assume the 2015's would be the same, but maybe you might need two pieces of tape on top of each other to get the correct height. The only holes I drilled were for the push pins that go in the plastic front bumper and the holes for the part of the fender flair that goes into the wheel well. FYI, if you have rear wheel well liners, it gets a little tricky, but not too bad.
