Default Pr-X High Boost Tune

Hey guys, has anyone run the 93 octane high boost tune from MPT yet? They claim gains 110 peak horsepower and 158 ft/lbs of torque for the 3.5EB. Just curious if there are any people who have run this tune yet

How does it run? Have you tried any other tunes from any of the other major tuners that you can compare it to?

Howdy!

It is mind-blowing. On this truck, I have not compared it to others -but several other folks have (to 5*, LET and a couple others). One is a friend with deep pockets, and PRX is a hands-down fave. Their default shifting strategy is also fantastic - firm yet still buttery smooth - I dunno How they managed that, but they did.

Everyone has different perspectives - for the minimal costs it would be best to buy it and try it fer yerself.

BE SURE to datalog ANY EB custom tune! You'll be glad you did.

Example instructions: http://www.morepowertuning.com/how-t...-ford-ecoboost

Call 'em - Ken and Mike. Mike's the EB wizard.

Do you know how much boost you're running on the 93? Is it like 17-18 or so? I think I heard that stock runs like 12-14 psi

Why don't you go and look on their site - the dyno plots for their 15+ EB tunes ( and the Stock tune) also include Boost data.

BTW - capturing it with LiveLink (or on-device datalogging) is the truly accurate way to do this - not the 'gauges' on the truck.
