Did you have an e-locker and will you lose it or is that unrelated to the gears?

Yes I have an e-locker but that is unrelated to the gear swap. I'm not changing the differential - just the ring & pinion gear set.

Your price is spot on. I had a reputable transmission shop put 3.73 gears on my Silverado a few years ago and it was $2200, and that was a few years ago. I could've bought the same gears they were supplying myself and have them install for a cheaper price, but they would not warranty it. That's worth something right there. I'll pay their price for a warranty for something like this. No problem.

I actually could purchase the parts at my local dealer and save about $120. However I want the installing dealer to have provided all parts and labor required to do the entire job so there's no question about warranty. They are even using OEM oil.

Yep $120 is definitely worth piece of mind.

No they only started working on it yesterday - front & rear is about a 16 to 18 hour job. Some parts are only ordered after disassembly (selective thickness shims & spacers for setting bearing preload, backlash & pinion depth).

I am also having the transfer case noise addressed per SSM 45452 and some minor paint work during this visit

Lastly they are a Roush dealer and are providing me with a price to install a Roush Phase 1 Supercharger.

good call on staying OEM gears, but 4.10s would have been nice! Regearing the front of an IFS truck sucks, but at least you aren't doing it lol. The price is pretty good too IMO, I know a lot of people paying the same for Jeep installs. Way less work, since you don't have to disassemble the whole front suspension to get the diff out.
