Got a message from my dealer yesterday saying all the parts are finally in and to call back to schedule the install. It goes in March 3 for freezing doors, sunroof knocking, and windshield washers.
I want to say Thank You to Ford Service for keeping me up-to-date on the status of the situation with their weekly phone calls.

My dealer has a giant list of people. My name got added about a month ago. They said it would be a while before i got called.. I was in the area so i stopped by yesterday to see how far down the list they were. They said.. "We've done ZERO trucks so far, we are still waiting on parts." How can this be? Not a single truck done?

Parts aren't readily available. With the large number of trucks having this problem, supply can't meet demand.

Update: Multiple trips back to the dealer post TSB and still having problems.

Last week we had record high temps here (over 60f) so I thought I would be able to drive my 'southland edition f150' without having any problems. Driver's door would not unlock with Fob after sitting in the sun for hours at well above freezing temps. I could hear the mechanism 'trying' to work...

2/17/17 Truck sat in sun all day. Temp hit about 40° and my driver door unlocked but took 5 or 6 good slams to catch and shut properly. This is after updated tsb and new latch, cable and the tsb redone 2 more times to make sure all moisture was removed and excessive amounts of grease applied.

Have them check the cable routing. The dealer told me they were told to change the routing of the cable. This fixed that part of the issue for me.

Finally got a positive update from my dealer. All the parts including the rain shields we were waiting in have finally come in and they should have the doors and a couple other things done and ready by end of day Friday.

Needless to say we are extatic and sick of driving loaner cars. You don't realize how nice your 502a Lariat is till you drive an XLT for a month.

They must have had a release of parts because I just pick up my truck after sitting there for since Dec. 15th. The odd thing is that the repair order only listed 3 rods but 4 cables and 4 shields. I already have to bring it back because one of the clips of the door panel will not stay in and keeps pulling away so you may want to look everything over really good when picking it up.
