Do you mean that it use to come up on the gauge cluster or the center APIM?

My cross traffic beeps notifying my when a car is coming as I back up. However, the radar does not light up on the screen alerting me to the direction the cross traffic is approaching. All the sonar/radars stay gray.

It used to do this but I'm not sure when it stopped working.

I updated my SYnc to 2.2 and I have made changes using Forscan.

Anyone else run into this issue after making changes with Forscan?

Edit: I've done the heat/cool buttons added to touchscreen, auto fold mirror, mirror tilt, assisted hill descent button add, double honk off, temp add on dash
I've also updated to 2.2 and made several Forscan changes. Unfortunately, I haven't paid that close attention to the cross traffic alert when it's gone off to answer your question (it doesn't go off a whole lot for me). I will watch it closer next time it does to see is the direction is indicated in not.

I have upgraded to 2.2 also but when it went off the other day I wasn't paying attention to the screen display either. I'll try to test this out tomorrow since the rain is supposedly done for now.

I am having the same type of issue. Few changes with FORSCAN (thanks everyone in this thread) Upgraded Sync 2.2 w/hub. I have noticed that the little truck icon and sensors takes much longer to load when I put it in reverse and doesn't seem as responsive in the grey bars. Sometimes I am pulled out, put it in drive and then the "radar truck" shows up in a big blue box in the middle of the screen where it cancels out my camera delay.

Curly, I have seen that too. I just backed into a parking spot and there were some bushes that caused the cross traffic to alert. The little grey waves did light up this time. I'll keep any eye on it and see if it does indicate like normal. At this point I'm more in the camp of this being a software issue and not a Forscan issue.

I've seen that as well a few times lately, wasn't sure what that was about.

So I looked at the "radar" lines on the display and they're rear parking aids only and not related to the CTA. The only alert I get for CTA is beeping and notification on the cluster which direction the vehicle approaching the truck is coming from. Wheel a trash can behind the truck and you'll clearly see these working.

I've seen the picture of the truck appearing in a box in the center of the screen when I was using the Lincoln brown theme all the time but since I switched to the Ford Blue GT theme that Dan posted I haven't seen it appear that I can remember.

If anyone wants to try this theme it's the following:
7D0-01-02 0xxx xxxx xxxx
7D0-02-01 xxxx xDxx xxxx
7D0-03-01 xxxx x4xx xxxx

Thanks. I am apparently crazy in thinking that I saw these work during cross traffic. Sorry to claim something as broke that isn't.

I know on my 2017 Super Duty that I get an alert and it shows a vehicle approaching (in yellow) on the screen with a astrick by it showing that a crash could occur. Obviously the SD is different than the F150, but thought I would let you know that its out there for the SD as well.

So I guess I'm heading to the dealer for this issue because I'm out of ideas... I did the very simple mod to use the mirror flood lights at any time - HOWEVER... they did not work after the mod. Checked connectors for loose/broken wires/connectors and all was well. Put everything back to stock and still no floods. Have constant 12v to pin 1 and 12v to pin 2 with ignition on. THEN I ordered a new module thinking maybe I shorted something in the process - I was very careful so I doubted that happened. Installed the new module - still no floods. Restored ALL Forscan modules to factory As-built - no floods... Any thoughts before I head to the dealer?? Thx for anything you can throw my way...
