I tried that twice. No dice. I have the battery cable off right now. But I have a feeling it's a programming problem and that's not going to fix it. It also won't remote start anymore. Since that line deals with remote start being on or off, i have a feeling I somehow hosed that whole line.

If the battery cable off to reset BCM doesn't work, do you know anyone with IDS that could do a PMI on the BCM?

Unfortunately, I don't. I'm probably going to have to go to the dealer.

Drove home today had the cooler plugged in,, power point stayed on while at rest stop.. After getting home left cooler running and power point stayed on for one hour and 15 or so minutes and turned off.. First time it has ever worked right..

Only thing that I really did that might cause it to start working is I reset the battery monitor last time I was in there.. But didn't notice any change till the trip to cottage..

Which brings to mind that the battery voltage always seemed low to me on this truck at 11.57 volts when sitting truck off.. Both with my meter and with Forscan showing this voltage..

Going to look into this some more, need to check the voltage now, but first going in this morning to get cataract removed from right eye,, have no idea how I'm going to feel afterwards.. But sure hope after getting both done in the next few weeks I'll be able to see the gages in the truck better during the day..

Mean while if anyone is playing in Forscan how about having it check your battery voltage for me. Both running and with engine off..

I've had some problems writing values with FORScan while the engine is off. FORScan would come up with a notification that the system voltage is X, below the threshold of Y... IIRC correctly, X was 11.3 and Y was 11.5. I fixed it by just writing values with the engine running, but if my voltage really is that low, it makes me curious what's going on. I'll dig into it when I have time.

Just a thought, but since 726-22-02 has something to do with spot light mirrors and since you were one of the first ever on this entire site to figure out the spotlight mirror mod, do you think this error could be related to how you've custom rewired your module?

What we you trying to achieve in the first place when this fault triggered?

Also, did you check your fuses?

O.K. add me to the list of Thank yous !! I have the adapter and have made a few mods already with success.
Two things I would like to do I can't find on the list. I looked but I'm not seeing them.
I would like to increase the heated steering wheel from low to hi.
I would also like to make the changes that allow me to input navigation changes while in motion. I will accept that this will come with side affects.
Could someone point these out for me ?
Thank you again all that have added to this project.

(HSWM) Heated Steering Wheel (Full Hot) - 714-02-01 0258 5858 28

(APIM) 7D0-02-01 5753 xxxx xxxx - Allows NAV in motion on Sync2 only but Sirius Travel Link no longer works. This was also reported to allow reading of text messages while in motion.

Great instructions and I have successfully completed mods to my 2017 Raptor.

As recommended, before doing anything, I saved the "as built" files under new names as factory reset files.

My issue: When I tried to load the my saved BCM file today to reset to factory values, I received an "error opening file" message. (Note: all my other backup files for modules loaded OK).

Question: Is there a way to access an original "as built" module file, or perhaps there is a published spreadsheet somewhere showing all the factory values so I can recreate the "as built" file?

Thanks again for all your help.
There may be a problem with FORScan as I had the exact same issue on my 17 Rsptor.

BUMP;

anyone can confirm that the values I'm using are good?

Why do I get an error writng to 726-50-01?
Is it required or I can leave it at 0280 instead of 108E?

Thanks.

I got mixed success,

I received my HDC switch, and installed it.
I successfully enabled HDC, and also did the Bambi mode. Can't do more on a XL!

But, when I tried to make my DRL switchable from the cluster, it didn't work.
When I enter the values in the Excel sheet to the BCM and IPC, I have the option with the checkbox that appears in my cluster.
The problem is even if I check or uncheck the box, the DRL are always OFF.

If I restore my IPC module, my DRL are like before. (work out of Park, and no cluster option)

Here are the values I'm using vs what is in the truck from Ford:

IPC:
720-02-01
original: 4D80 3C51 1CA0
excel: 4DE0 3C31 1CE0

BCM:
726-16-02
original: 0202 0202 024F
excel: 0101 0101 0049
726-21-01
original: 1401 0201 0269
excel: xxxx xxxx x1xx
726-50-01
original: 0280
excel: 108E :: but I get an error for this one, but it shouldn't matter since 0280 is the low beams. I just want to enable or disable them.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
