I left Chevy in the mid 2000s after having a mid 90s 1500. All of my Ford's have been worth the wait. If you haven't checked out a supercab, you should give them some consideration. Even if you don't need the space, you'll eventually use it. Plenty available out there. Good luck!

Sometimes if an issue has been found in production those all ready built sit and have to wait to finally have the fix done to them. This actually happened to a fusion order of ours a few yrs ago. It showed up almost 7 months after it was built. Once built they get parked on lots. If there is a hold those built soonest get buried further and further back on the lot awaiting parts availibility and and/or a fix. The ones in the front of the lot or most recent orders get fixed before the older ones in the back. Sucks.. but it can be a reality when they have identified a quality issue that they want fixed before they go out to the public.

Seems like it's time for me to jump in here, y'all. I'd like to clarify a few things, and also apologize. My personal goal for my private messages is one business day; so if you're sending me a PM on a Friday, I try my hardest to get back by Monday when I leave at 8 pm.

That being said, I've had an unusually high amount of private messages in the last few weeks, causing a bit of a lag in reply. Admittedly, it has been more like 2-3 business days depending on the public volume that I'm responsible for. I know it's not easy to wait, whether it's for your truck or for the latest per my PMs, but I want to make sure that everyone here understands that I'm trying my hardest to help however, and as quickly, as I can.

Regarding information that I can provide, it's mostly build dates and ETAs, along with the first level status, such as "In Order Processing", "In Production", "Awaiting Shipment", and "In Transit". I do not have access to physical locations and am unable to provide ramp information. I sometimes receive information regarding general delays in production, but the specifics don't show up on your individual orders in my system. For example, it may say "delivery delay", but there are no details provided. For that, your dealership is the best resource you have, and the information they provide is entirely at their discretion.

Truly, the dealerships and the agents here are using the same system.

Additionally, I want to remind everyone that COTUS is in Beta mode; it was originally created and tested on select Mustangs and was meant to be used as an aid for dealerships. It unintentionally was released to the public, which is how it has grown so popular. It is no longer being worked on to my knowledge, and I don't have information as to why that is. I do know that it being in Beta mode causes it to provide false information, and even remove statuses from your view. The system I and the dealer use is the Ford Certified tracking system, and is the most accurate information available.

If any of you have any questions regarding this, I can most certainly do all I can to fill you in, or otherwise point you in the right direction. I hope you all understand that I'm happy to help and truly enjoy providing updates on your trucks!

Brittany, I am sure we all appreciate your help here.

You missed the point I was trying to make.

When I am told upon order a specific time when my ordered vehicle will be in and it turns out its 4 months after that and still no truck its a bit much.

You told me yesterday that my truck was in production.

Cotus showed the truck actually went into production on 3/16 was actually built on 3/25. It has showed awaiting shipment since 3/25.

The window sticker was up on 3/17.

I sent you a PM last week and you responded yesterday that the truck was
"In Production" (the response time is not the issue here)

If the truck is actually in production like you say now why did Cotus show it was in production on 3/16? Built on 3/25?

I was hoping to get a possible delivery date from you and now you say its not even built yet.

The reason I am so concerned is I had a new Shelby GT500 on order and was being told the same built not built then finally yeah its built and it was then MONTHS before it showed up.

Turns out it had MAJOR damage prior to leaving plant. Ford did one of the sloppiest repairs I have ever seen no disclosure to me and it went downhill from there.

Car was taken back as a LEMON and the title was washed not showing I owned it for the Month.

Replacement Car also had a major Paint Issue. Ford told me to stuff it.

Said when I ordered my next vehicle "they would help me out"

Now I get this? They admitted they told me they would help and now its tough luck.

So yes with good reason I should have never ordered another ford much less than 2 new F150's

I guess I know what I need to do at this point!

I have been told that all regular cabs are on hold as far as delivery goes.

Some have been sitting on lot @ ford for over a month because they have not been released for sale!

About the worst roll-out of any Ford vehicle that I can recall

One can imagine how bad my truck will look after sitting and not being cleaned for 2 months . .

6 months since my truck order. Built over a month ago and no date for shipping or delivery.

I just read '15 sales down from a year ago. Its no wonder why.

Too many issue's.

And ford wonders where the customers are going . . .

Why not be a little more open on whats up if there actually is a issue?

Appears my truck will not make it within 7 months of order . .

Sitting on a humid lot in michigan for 30 days and counting not good.

It will look like the typical michigan "rust bucket" before I even get it!

(I am from michigan)

PM sent to ford service now to see how long the response takes this time . . clock starting now.

I think the problem is if Ford would have been up front and honest we wouldn't have a problem. They knew in November when certain body styles would be built or at least in what order. They didn't bother to tell us that. The Ford rep said my truck would be in production over a month ago. He knew very well that was not the case. Why did he bother to say that. All I won't is the truth.
This is NOT in any way directed at Brittany. She has done every thing she could to keep us informed.
