Default Ford Service Responding to check order status?

Anyone else getting a response from Ford Service? Usually its a day or so max
Now its 3 or 4 days and have not gotten a response.

Ordered truck end of October got a VIN early November.

I have gotten many many build dates and nothing . .

Just a week ago I was told build date was 3/9 that's long gone and now no response.

Early on I was told build in December should have new on early January.

Put my diesel up for sale a couple days after Christmas thinking it would take a while to sell. It was gone in 2 days. Now have been without veh for over 2 months. With the next week, next week, next week.

It may be time to look at other options!

In my 40yrs of buying vehicles all fords except one dodge and one chevy.

Dodge in 1979 chevy in 1983.

Did you go to COTUS and put in your VIN to check the status?

Ask your dealer for a vehicle report.

If your referring about a response to a PM from FordService, sometimes it takes Brttany a couple of days to catch up with all of the requests, but you will get a response from her.

What does COTUS show when you plug in your VIN?

Did you order any late availability items? Some are flagged when you build a truck on the Ford site. Others are associated with the KC startup.

I just looked thru his posts, he ordered a regular cab, 6.5' box. Definitely a KC build.

One of the largest dealers in the country so not a allocation issue.

Dearborn VIN

Nothing said late avail during order. I was initially told it would be a December build then about every week in January.

THen february the last was a for sure Build of March 9th.

Brittany finally did respond with this.

Hi there,

It looks like your build date has shifted a bit, to 3/20. I'm not seeing an ETA just yet, but please check back in about a week or so; I'll send along the latest.

Brittany

Week after week after week I get the same thing. Check back next week for update. I am given a build week but when that week comes its check back next week, wait another week I get another build week it goes by then its back to check next week

It has been getting moved since december.

Patience wearing thin . . . Basic order but a XL so I guess the money trucks gotta be built first.

Pretty loaded for a XL but did not want all the bells and whistles of a higher end model.

Regular cabs with the 6.5' box are delayed. I assume that's why your build date keeps getting pushed back.

Huh. Dearborn is not building production regular cab trucks. They only built a few pre-production regular cab trucks for testing. Everything I have heard indicates that KC will be the only plant to build the regular cab.

Are you certain the 11th digit of your VIN is not a K?
