Ford did it again

I just returned from 3 weeks in Montgomery, Florida panhandle, Gulf Shores, Mobile, New Orleans, Memphis, Nashville, etc. As an observer of Ford vs GM trucks by the thousands on the freeways, I noted relatively few Ford PTM bumpers compared to chrome throughout the SE states. It's the same in my northwest US residence. Most PTM front ends (bumper, fascia, & grills) look depressing after a couple of years and chrome is favored by most owners based on my observations of what's passing me on the road wherever I travel.

Why all the hate on Goodyear Wranglers for OEM tires? I have only bought 3 new vehicles, and I remember the Goodyear RSAs on my g35x were total crap...
So Ford truck owners don't like the Wranglers because one poster characterized them as 'squishy' ?

No, because they're junk. Cupping, uneven wear, premature wear. I work at a ford dealer and hear nothing but complaints about the OEM Goodyear and Pirelli line of tires.

Ok thanks. The RSAs I mentioned before were noisy and wore out around 20k miles. These sound even worse, and replacement tires aren't cheap... I agree also on the Pirellis too, hated them on my Mustang. The replacement Hankooks are way better.

And just to add to the rant. I tried to order a all black wall tire but with the 20's and 4 wheel drive the only thing I could get was raised white letters. I would much rather have a all black tire with the white platinum.

Are they the dynapro atm's(rf10 model I think)? That alone would make me get the fx4 package as well. The good years suck, first time I ever changed tires before they were worn out. I have discover at3's right now and they are pretty good. Had atm's on my wife's old ride and they are the best tire I have ever had.

The new goodyears they're putting on the '15's is not the SR-A, it's the new all terrain adventure line. Apparently a good tire.
