Default Ford Credit Question

This may be a dumb question, but how long does the application process take? I am planning on using Ford Credit for the rebate and then refinancing. There is a chance my truck will be in before my vacation so I would like to avoid any delays that would prevent me from taking it. I'm assuming it's all done in the same day but want to be sure.

For what it's worth COTUS says 8/16 delivery and I am leaving the morning of 8/15. 8/16 is a Sunday so I'm hoping it comes in the week prior.

Once you have agreed on the price they can go ahead and do the credit app and get the approval, and do all the paperwork when you arrive to pick the truck up.

I bought a truck today, did the application online, took maybe 3 minutes. Got an approval code, showed up at dealer and all they had to do was enter my deal. Finance office took about 20 min with them trying to sell me everything under the sun.

Default Ford Credit Question

Be careful with these finance guys. The Web shows 3.9 for 72. Don't expect that as for whatever reason your incentives will be less if you go that way.

Ford credit dit sucks!

Default Ford Credit Question

Anyways ford credit sucks! They will give you every excuse to take there rate.

To get the incentives just take there rate and then refinance for a better rate.

I'm a Vietnam vet. Usaa.com is your friend. Three payments and then a refinance to 2.49 I'm done with ford.

Why bother with three payments? I refinanced with my CU the week after purchase. Still paid $45 in interest.

My credit app too 2 minutes yesterday. Ford Credit came back at 4.75 for 60. I told him that was crazy and please run outside credit. Another 2 minutes and Bank of America offered the best at 1.89 for 60. I gave up the $750 for 1.89.

Bought a new Lariat this week. Temporary financing with Ford Credit to get incentives. Doing refi with USAA - already approved. How do you get account # and payoff quickly?
