Unbelievable!

Well today on my way to work the Nav went bonkers. It still worked but was doing things without my input.

Take videos so you can show them when you finally take it in or you'll get the cannot replicate etc

Unless vehicle has a fault code or it does it with dealer tech driving, no good! I don't think the service department gets paid based on customer videos. But it does help bring attention to the problems. Good luck.

I've had major issues and more expedited thru videos

Fault codes are for repairs, videos are to escalate the situation beyond the service department

Absolutely! I have a video and still shots.

But wait, there's more......

Yesterday I hit the gas to merge onto the interstate and the engine let out an exhaustive loud grunt-like noise that I have NEVER heard before in 6 months of ownership. No it wasn't the normal, I'm about to haul ***, noise the engine made when I punched it in the past.

And just think it all started with a few faults on the cluster, to malfunctioning running boards, to malfunctioning NAV, and now what seems to be a malfunctioning engine.

I'm not stressed or worried but I'd be lying if I didn't say its becoming comical by the day.

Do you got the 5.0?

It may be the intake, and it may be normal. Just changed the air filter, and it helped, but it's still there like the first time I get on it trying to overtake.

Yes I have a 5.0 and you described it PERFECTLY!!!!! I'm also thinking about bribing the service advisor because waiting three weeks to be seen is ridiculous.

Default First Electrical Gremlin

Update (well sort of) - Dropped truck off yesterday morning......I was the first one there. Guy called yesterday late evening asking to keep the truck over night because they don't have a clue what the problem is!

Default First Electrical Gremlin

@4js8wh that would certainly be ideal, but I'm "trying" to do something I don't normally do, exercise a lil patience. BTW, the service department called on Friday to say they still don't have a clue after two days of troubleshooting. They sent "something" to Ford and await a response.

How much time should I give them before I dial it up a bit? You mentioned others received new trucks, but one guy's problem was determined to be a faulty ground. Wouldn't that be something they check first?
