Default Fender wheel lip moldings?

Ordered a 2015 XLT 4x4 a few days ago. Live in BC with lots of snow and gravel on the roads in the winter. The truck will be coming without fender wheel lip moldings. I managed to purchase a set of front and rear new take offs from a lariat from eBay. Wonder has anyone installed these on a truck without the factory holes? I noticed at the dealer that the ends of the molding probably will bolt right up but the push thru plugs along the molding will have to be drilled. Not sure about drilling the aluminium and corrosion issues. I will be putting the gator back mudflaps on also and on their website it states Ford 2015 f150 SVE bulletin " any deviation of the installation and / or hardware may result in premature corrosion. The manufacturer and / or dealer distributor are not responsible for negligent use or installation.
The gator back mudflaps come with braces that attach to the flap and bolt to predrilled holes with a large bracket. No drilling. Suppose to be really good quality flaps. I'm sure ppl have installed generic flaps that required drilling and screwing into the lip.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have an XLT and I have the factory fender guards. If you drill through the fender just seal the bare metal with some sort of primer, tape it off and do multiple coats should be relatively easy. You might be aware but you can not use steel with unprotected aluminum they react together and the aluminum will corrode. Are you sure your truck will not have predrilled holes?

I did this on my '04, and the 15's are the same with all the push pins, so you'll be drilling a lot of holes.

Not positive but I just checked the ones at the dealer. They seemed to have the holes on each end of the molding but the holes where the 4 plastic push plugs that the lariat have are not there.

So haven't found out much about drilling a few holes in the fender lips and problems with corrosion. The moldings I have ordered are in now. Don't think I will be installing them unless I can get some assurance that there will be no problems. ( was adding the moldings to stop rock chips. Lol )
If anyone is looking for 4 ruby red OEM wheel lip moldings I will be parting with them cheap. PM me if interested.
