Factory Halogen Retrofit Thread
Looking for options as far as paint/color combos and projector/shroud combos on the Factory Halogens. Can't seem to dig anything up on the halogen, seem to only find LED.
Post your setups. And if you don't mind, the specs.
I'm trying to decide if I wanna do my own retrofit. If I am correct, all I need is the Projector ( Mini D2 ) for the low beams, H11 Ballast/Bulbs, Relay and some patietnce? I also planned on going with the Apollo 3.0 Shroud, colormatched. Truck is Ruby Red Metallic, and can't seem to find a decent color that would look good. For now I just plan on doing the Low Beam, using an LED for the HI ( since it wont' be used much ) and finding an HID option for the Fogs to match. Unless someone could point me in a better direction
Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty mechanically inclined, but the whole retrofitting thing is new to me!

If you are going to use anything other than the mini h1 you might want to hire it out or reconsider. It's just such a small space in there that it's hard to fix anything else. Let me know if you're interested.

Also If you want to see one colour matched to your ruby red, User "bobekongwe" opened his up and painted them to match.
