The Ford F-150 is once again the best-selling vehicle in the country.
Dealerships sold nearly 800,000 of the trucks in 2015, besting all other models. The Chevy Silverado and Dodge Ram secured the second and third spot respectively. The Toyota Camry was the fourth most popular vehicle, followed by the Corolla.

Actually the story is slightly inaccurate as the numbers they give are for all "F-Series" trucks. Ford doesn't release actual F-150 numbers. GM is the same with their Silverado series/FCA with their Ram series. The numbers given are inclusive of the heavy-duty versions of the trucks. It would be interesting to see the numbers of individual models. I do know that Ford's Super Duty dominates the HD market.

That is interesting. I wonder why Ram is so more popular there than they appear to be here? I don't see many Rams compared to Ford / GM trucks. They don't seem to be as popular here as they were 1994-1999. They sold a boatload of them with that redesign (2nd gen). I even had one .

The other thing you need to realize it that if it was Ford vs GM (Silverado and Sierra), GM sold more trucks. And we all know they are the same truck. Just saying. I love my F150 and wouldn't buy a GM, but the numbers are deceitful.
