I use a 05 f150 to pull a 28ft enclosed and it pulls very well actually I'll be honest with a 04 cobra mystic in trailor I'll forget it's back there it toes very well I do have a weight distributing hitch trailor is 4500 empty I've got a atv winch mounted in it and the car is roughly 3800 pounds so no more than 8700 loaded so u should have no issues it pulls much more stable than my rv but with the roadmaster added it's even better I've got a 15 ecoboost max tow I've yet to pull with

If it were short distances I would say go for it. If it's hundreds of miles a trip, just step up to the bigger truck. They ride great too!

How many 1/2 ton haulers do you see at the track? Those are the guys I'd ask

Before buying, there are some instances of folks disliking the towing of the new trucks. Some spending thousands trying to upgrade parts and not being successful. I do not own a 2015 but I did use one to haul my 6000 pound trailer and it felt much less stable than my 2005 150. For this reason I would purchase a 3/4 ton.

Well it looks like the 05 is just a tow beast, good thing I added a Whipple supercharger as its s beast for towing on 6 psi it made 408 rwhp and 435 rwtq and have never driven a half ton that handles weight like it does, I've not pulled with my 15 but my 05 is set up to pull as everything has been upgraded, the best up grade was the triple core fluid dyne radiator
