Default Electrical trailer tow installation instructions.

Just getting around to going over some of the items in my glove box.

Any ideas why or when I would need this?

Have the big round and flat cable trailer connectors on bumper.

That is to hook up any aftermarket trailer brake controller, splice together with the harness that comes with the controller

Edit: the plugs in your bumper are already completely connected

No problem, but if you are planing to install a controller look into an oem one, the plug you will need to get to is plugged into the back of the cubby below your 4x4 **** which is where the oem controller goes. So you have to take it apart that far anyways might as well put in the good one. Got mine for 128.99 off eBay, you will however need to have the dealer turn it on if you go this route, only takes a few minutes
