Default Dustfree brake pads, No Akebono for the 2015s?

So for the past decade or so I have been a true Akebono brake pad believer as they were absolutely dust free. I would actually have them bought and at delivery of any truck I bought, these would go on the day I brought the truck home. So with the recent order of my 2015 I went t order a set and cant see where Akebono does not offer these for the 15s. What's with that????

Anyone here use a good brand of pads that are dust free? Sure like to keep the dust off my wheels if anyone knows of a good brand. How is the stock pads in this regard? Much dust?

I'm sure they will offer them soon. I can't imagine a 2015 owner needing to replace pads this early in the game. I am also a true believer in Akebono. They are on my wife's Audi and are absolutely dust free. They are my pad of choice for any car/truck.

Do they really stop that much better? I ask because I often push through my brakes because the torque of the blower and having stronger pads so I can fully stall the converter would be nice.

I can't say they stop any better although I have no complaints on their stopping power but I can say that they put off no brake dust.

You replace the brand new brake pads on your brand new truck before they are even worn a day, and all over brake dust..........on a truck........

As will I. Brake dust is your enemy. It will destroy the coating on the rims over time so spending around $75 to prevent pitting is worth it in my book. Jaime

I guess it just isn't that big of a problem here, I never have noticeable brake dust on my wheels, The only thing that kids the coating where I am at is the Salted roads
