Default Dressing up a Caribou

Well when we bought the truck it was intended to be driven by my wife so I let her pick the colors. What we have here is the caribou with beige gut XLT. Nothing special, has the basic options. But well appointed. As you may have seen in my past posts I have put beige and black Katzkin seats in it (that was fun, not). We picked up a used set of 17x9 pro comp 1059's and wrapped them in 285/70 toyo a/t's I bought the 2.5" leveling kit for it. Window tint. Tri fold tonneau cover, and a couple other things. Well the wife didn't want all that stuff on HER truck,,, well my only answer to that was to buy another car for her. So now the truck is mine and it's getting done... On to some pics

When we picked it up from dealer, such a blank canvas,,,

Window tint was first to do.

15%on all windows including going over factory tint to make them darker. Limo tint on rear glass.

The wheels I got a deal on.

Did the lariat console lid mod.

Before Katzkin,

After Katzkin,

Toneau cover on and rear window lettered for bussiness

AVS seamless vent shades. Finally got a set to fit correctly after fighting with the engineers for a month.

After all this is done, I think I'm going to put a 52" curved led light bar above the windshield. Then will come the exhaust and cold air intake and tune. This little 2.7 is going to be a screamer.

More pics

Fit like their supposed to now,,,

New turbos showed up for the upgrade,,,just kidding. Just checking if you guys actually read the picture comments.

Test fitting the wheel and tire combo. I like the fit even without the leveling kit,,, maybe I won't use it. Unless I put 35/12.50/20's on it . Then I will definitely need it.

Fit pretty good.

You didn't think I was going to leave them polished did you??? Hahaha

Bug guard done too... I forgot about that one. Nice fit.

Now we're getting somewhere,,,,

Going to be putting these on in matte black to compliment the Roush hood and the tailgate treatment.

Also have a set of factory lariat fender flares that were removed from a truck they were doing a lift and big tires on... And they are the correct color --- bonus

Nice looking truck, but I prefer the stock wheels/tires. Enjoy and keep posting photos. The Katzskin seats are a great upgrade.

Very nice. I like everything you've done to it. Wish I could tint my windows that dark. That'll be illegal here.
