Default Downloading music on the Sony radio

Can you download music from a CD in the 2015 F150 like I could in my 2010 F150? Both have the Sony systems. Am I missing something? I sure hope I can that was a great feature.
Thanks
Ben

No there is no hard drive. Don't go any higher than 64 gig thumb drives - you can use two of them. Total 15,000 songs. It will take a long while to index. make extrememly sure you don't have any protected files on the drive (s)

Where does this 64GB limit info come from? It is not correct.

There is nothing in the manual that states only 64gig. Good luck with anything higher. I found that the Nav system behaved abnormally when the "system" was attempting to index on a 128 or 256 gig thumb drive. You may have better results. Addtionally I lowered the amount of files (songs) to about 7000 per thumb drive. They are both working now. The downside is as soon as I remove/add any new files, it will take some time for the sytem to re-index that drive.

The 128GB SanDisk Cruzer Glide drive works very well in my truck. Right now, there's about 100 GB of audio data on it (~8600 tracks). It took less than 10 minutes for it to index everything the first time, and maybe two minutes or so when I make additions. It could be that some drives are more compatible than others, I don't really know. Also, I had read that it's important that the drive is formatted in FAT32. I paid $40 for mine, now they're $30, which is insanely cheap for that much memory.

Well then...this is interesting to know. I might go ahead and pick one of these up. Maybe it will work better. I'd prefer to have my music on ONE device for obvious reasons.

Thank you!
