Default Do the '15 3.5 EB's have the intake "silencer" from prev gen?

Just did the VTA mod and love the sound of the blowoff, but still want more turbo whistle.
My 5* tunes helped some, but I want more!

Do the '15's have these? http://www.f150ecoboost.net/forum/14...y-tornado.html

Quick vid after VTA mod, in cab windows up:

Let us know what you find out. I just don't see how removing those two air mixers could add any more Turbo whistle, but hey, I hope it does cause I would love to hear more of it out of my ECOBeast also. Keep us posted please.

Ok, just went on a short drive around town, definitely no immediate difference, but something does seem a little different. I think there is just a little more turbo sound, I will have to get more time in the drivers seat to find out. Will be monitoring MPG's as well. I encourage others to give it a try to compare results, it literally took less than 5 mins to take them out, and they will go back in just as easily.

Actually during the ride I was having too much fun listening to the blow off valve that I was hardly paying attention to the turbo's. After driving through town with the windows down, it is LOUD!

A couple more quick vid's

Windows down on a back country road:

Going through a small underpass, absolutely did not mean to bark the tires, I blame 5* for this!

Took mine out the second day I had the truck. I didn't get more whistle, but my car sounds like it's sucking in the earth's entire atmosphere when I get on it.

OP what did you use to cap the intake side? Did you leave the CAC vented wide open with no filter?

All I did was disconnect the bottom end of the hose running from the blow off valve to the intake, and I machined a plug out of polymer that snaps in the end of the hose to cap it off. I left the hose in place, and zip tied it so it doesn't flop around. This way I can literally swap back to stock in 30 seconds by popping out the plug and plugging the hose back to the BOV.

The combo of the blow off sound and tires sqwaking at 20 mph just cost me 50k. I want a new truck now.
