Default DIY bed divider?

I have a f150 super crew with a 5.5 box and bak g2 cover. Just wondering if anybody has made their own bed divider (for groceries etc (back part of the bed))

With what type of material? Where does it go as I haven't really looked at truck bed...had to deal with the hit and run on my truck.

I would even dish out a bit of money to get a cheaper alternative to the official ford bed extender that turns into a divider.

Thanks for any input/ideas!

I just use a 2x6 in the "slots" between the wheel wells and the tailgate.

I just use one or two of the ratcheting cargo bars. Each one cost $20. I like the flexibility of putting where I need them and being able to create 3 zones by using two bars.

Voltruckguy that's really nice. I may do one like that soon. Have you considered getting a metal Ford emblem or F150 emblem and centering it on that board? Also, maybe put some hooks on the board for putting grocery bag handles on. I just put a board across in the slots and then put some bins in the back for random grocery trips. Mine will also have a couple mountain bike front fork attachments on it. I laugh at the guys who buy those expensive hitch bike racks and put them on their truck. Or the ones hooking their front wheel over the tailgate

I have both and prefer the divider. Its not perfect, but the extender seems pretty bulky and hard to use.

Yes cargo bars do a great job.
