Default Disappointed w 2015 F150...traded

I really was looking forward to my new 2015 Platinum F150 w a 5.0 and every other option I could order. Since having the truck I have had nothing but one disappointment after another. It is my fault for buying a 1st year production after a major remodel, but I missed my 2013 FX4 F150 and had to had a new one. Between the roof leaks, QC misses, and the way it felt towing my 1964 Airstream I was over it. So I picked up a new 2015 Platinum F250 w a 6.7 diesel that meets my needs. This platform is solid and the tweaks on the 6.7 have been really well received by the working man. If anyone is interested in some WeatherTech front and rear liners PM me and I also have the Ford OEM rubber liners that I tried. They will not work in my Super Duty so they are just taking up space.

This is why Ive Never bought the 1st year makeover of any vehicle, Ive ever purchased new!

Not that later years wont have any problems, but most are found after the 1st yr.

How did they treat you on the trade in? I am thinking about doing the same thing. Not that am I unhappy with my 15 King Ranch, but its just not enough truck to pull my boat long distances comfortably.

They hurt my feelings...A LOT. Not going to have that problem again with the F250 w/ the 6.7 when its time to replace the 2015.

When you say not enough truck, what do you mean?
Not enough power? Do you have a 5.0L V8?

It seems like the majority of people complaining about towing have been folks with the 5.0L rather than the 3.5 EcoBoost.

I went to purchase a 15 F150 and ended up with a 15 F350 6.7. It's way more truck than I need, however the cost of the F150 was $1,500 less than a F350 Platinum. With basically no rebates on the F150 to speak of, I figured the F350's resale value will hold it's own compared to the F150.

Congrats on the F250. The Powerstroke is a brute and sounds nice too.
