I am pretty sure the 2014 it was compared to had a 26 gallon tank, not the 36. Also if it is going to get good MPG 3 gallons to me is not a big deal. (I have a 26 now)

The pre 15s had 26/36 tanks. Now the 15+ have 23/33. That's cutting 60ish miles out a tank of fuel!!

But if you average 3 MPG greater (23 vs 20), you're getting 9 more miles (529 vs 520) out of a tank, while saving weight...

If the 2.7 engine models can get even get 25 MPG, that's 575 miles on a 23 gal tank or 825 miles on a 33 gal tank. Wow! Sure beats 450 miles on a 2004 5.4 Screw tank.

How do you get a/z plan lol

I don't think I could order sight unseen, I mean, do you even know what the sport package has or looks like?

Exactly, it's probably a weight/cost savings thing. If the truck really is as much lighter as they say then it will get about the same range I think.

Not quite. Family get A/Z plan. Sweet, sweet, Z plan :P

X plan is junk any anyone can get their hands on it. It's usually no better than what a dealer offers to anyone.

Correct but not extended family only immediate.

Edit - I guess it's any family member but subject to audit.

Incorrect, I get z-plan from my grandparents.

From Ford: "Those who qualify for A-Z Plans are able to generate four personal identification numbers (or PINs) per calendar year. They may use those PINs to sponsor immediate family members including: spouse, parents, spouse’s parents, brothers and sisters including step- and half-siblings and in-laws, grandchildren, grandparents, and same sex domestic partners and their immediate families. "
