Default Deal? or no deal?

My lease is up in dec, so took a drive to my dealership, they have nothing I like so I looked into ordering a new one, so this is what I came up with.

2015 f150 lariat 4x4 supercrew 6.5 box
silver
501a equipment group
3.5l ecoboost
electronic locking 3.55 axle
max trailer tow
lariat chrome package
box side steps
voice-activated navigation
extended range 36 gal fuel tank
trailer tow mirrors
leather bucket seats with flow through console and floor shift
msrp $52,480
invoice $48,389

my trade is a 13 f150 supercrew fx4 white 20200 miles, they told me that they would give me $33000 when the 15 comes in, and that would be like june. good deal or not?

i wouldnt be able to tell you that exactly.. each dealer is going to be different mostly dependent on how many vehicles they move. What i can tell you is that i got mine for 5k under invoice. (2k in rebates plus 3 k from dealer)

Serious question - how can a dealer give you $3000 off invoice price? I understand there's all manner of perks and incentives the dealer can be getting besides the holdback but that seems like an extreme amount.

It's so late in the '15 model year and your lease isn't up until December, what's the hurry? Wait and order a '16.

If you can get them to invoice then be able to subtract incentives from the invoice price, I think you're doing well.

I can't say much, I paid over invoice on mine initially. X-plan pricing is a little above invoice then minus incentives. I think I got the $1000 everyone gets then the $750 private incentive. Maybe a thousand under invoice. I want to say I paid $54,3xx out the door after tax, title, license, fees. Considering the truck was priced at $60k I'm not complaining.

On a different note, had I known I would be house shopping 2 months later I would have gotten an XLT Sport for about 20 grand less. Live and learn.

As a comparison, I get AZ Plan (employee/retiree) price. Couple that with the $1,000 rebate that was in effect when I bought my truck, my price (before sales tax and nominal fees) was roughly $3,443 below invoice.

The dealer would have to had cut another $1,500 from the price - $1,500 less than what Ford employees pay - in order to arrive at "$5K below invoice"
