Took it to the dealer yesterday for some other malfunctioning stuff and asked them to turn off the feature that honks the horn every time you get 3' away from the center of the truck with the key in your pocket.

Pull up to boat ramp, get out - double honk
Go to the other side to let my lady out - double honk
Unstrap the boat - double honk
Back into the water - double honk
Pull the boat away - double honk
Get back in the f'ing truck (starting to get pissed at the honking now and people looking) - double honk

AHHHHHHH STOP ALL THE F'ING HONKING.

I swear I'm ready to pull the horn out of this thing!

There has GOT to be some way to turn this very annoying 'feature' off. GRRRRRR - stealer says "no"

Leave the key in the truck when you're doing all of those things, and lock the doors with the keypad. You don't want to risk dropping it in the water when putting your boat in anyway, do you?

Or leave the door open. That should also disable it.
