Cooling Seats issue and TSB feedback

Looks like I may have found another thing for my list of modifications. I didn't even know the seat back was supposed to cool until I stumbled across this thread. My driver seatback doesn't even feel like air is getting to it (assuming disconnected vent), the passenger side is working fine though.

I have a 2016. The driver's side works perfectly, but the passenger seat has no heat or cooled air in the seat. You can hear the blower come on, but no heat/cool air. Took to the dealer and they tried programming the environmental control unit and zapped the unit. Replaced the unit and back to original problem.

Ford for a while "couldn't meet the demand" for the new TSB sock assembly so they cheated and only installed the sock on the driver side gambling that no one would ever notice the difference. If it is missing the sock you have two options: go to Ford and have them update that TED to have the white intake sock OR go aftermarket.

Check under your seats. You might have one of the rare trucks that Ford let out in late 2015 / early 2016 that has the TSB sock on the driver side only.

Driver Seat
I just had my blower motor for the driver's seat changed because it failed on my 2015 Lariat. While they were in there they discovered that the upper leather skin on the seat was faulty from the factory so they just replaced that as well.
Keeping a close eye on the passenger seat as well.
