no offense brother, but Tims not autozone. He might not be doing it next year... I suggest getting your parts at least.

I got the V2 upgrade installed and first off just comparing the two V2 is stronger with a support added under the tube to help prevent the outlet from flexing, which is awesome. Second the metal playe and longer screws are fantastic addition. I had the tabs break off the V1 and if distorted causing the air flow to be constricted. Not tim's fault or design but between the heat the TED produces with intake temps over 120 degrees the ouptput was substantially hotter which softens the V1 and my 100lb dog leaning on my seat back the V1 was in trouble.

For the main question, is there a difference. YES, I live in Arizona and I did not really notice much difference with the V1, just the hot spots had gone down but still not much cooling. V2 though I can feel the cold air. It's still not as much as the bottoms but way better than it was. If you haven't done it I would recommend V2 without any hesitation.

Thank You Tim!

Oh and I typed this on my phone so don't knock the spelling, it didn't flag anything lol

"So I've had a chance to try out the new parts. WOW what a difference. I guess since the old part warped I wasn't getting the full cooling effect. Even though I taped the old parts and it was still pretty much sealed up when I opened the seat back up. I was getting decent cooling with the old parts but I'm getting excellent cooling with the new parts. Cooling to the point I've had to turn it down."

I am sorry for those that it took far too long to get kits to. Family life and too much stress was taking its toll. I decided to meet my wife down in Florida since she was already on a work trip down there. It was a great recharge. We just got home today after the trip and I am wrapping up a whole load of kits. This should get me caught up so more guys can give feedback.

If you do not have tracking info it should come through tonight. If you don't see an email by tomorrow AM PLEASE reach out to me. I am not trying to forget anyone but I am human...
As I have posted before, this is far more a "work of love" by Tim than any business enterprise.

We (Tim and I) are just disappointed that, despite our joint efforts to do so, we could not get a "V2 TSB" out of our direct dialog with Ford. Just think what they could have given us owners..... with the research and manufacturing capabilities at their disposal.... to do a "fix final" to the Cooled Seat Saga!! We offered to also "owner/field" test a second version as we did the first TSB but their interest waned once the "hot spot" was addressed partially with the intake sock/TED TSB. Honestly, I fully expected that by the late 2016 or 2017 models Ford would have integrated an intake/exhaust solution onto all their cooled seat production... maybe even a V2 TSB. The Ford folks were great to work with, but..... well... they did not.....they had a different perspective!?

Take it from one that personally worked together a lot with Tim on this issue.... he is a great guy and knows his engineering. Just think what he could have done in conjunction with Ford's vast resources!!....AZPLAT

Really looking forward to hearing this feedback. After riding in my buddy's new Silverado, my seat might as well not have seat coolers. Like I said before, my seats don't get hot at all, they just don't cool on the back.

Got my truck today. The bottom cools fantastic, the backs not at all. It has the TSB sock but I don't think that's helping one bit. Absoutly no air from the back.

I'll be ordering tims kit payday.

Does the latest kit from Tim work w/ new trucks with the TSB installed from the factory? I thought I read a few pages back it won't work with the TST - it was one or the other?

If you have the TSB installed (aka the white crappy sock under your seat) you can ONLY install the exhaust upgrade. If you do not have the TSB done you can install both intake and exhaust kits. The V2 kit works with either setup and basically upgrades the exhaust parts to be more robust.

For the first time in a long time I actually have some parts sitting on the shelf! Sure is handy having two 3d printers to run around the clock.

Right now the parts are known to fit on:
2015-2016 F150s
2015-2016 Explorers
2015-2016 Mustangs

Should fit on:
2017 Superduties

Has anyone played with getting more air into the TED with the TSB already installed?

I have a TED with the sock on the way (I bought one so I can play with it.) It is on my list to design a better fix for it that would require removing the sock. I am a one man show so no promises when I get the design finished.
