Default Petition Signed

Signed with comments.....hopefully more voices will join in....being silent is NOT being proactive and involved.....just saying!! Settling for a flawed design helps no one.....especially if it happens to reflect on your daily enjoyment of an otherwise aswome vehicle....saying nothing about lower future resale value.

My 2013 seats had no heating, cooling or leather "wrinkle" issues and living in Phoenix at the time my wife and I felt good results from using them. They were slightly larger, thicker and deeper than the 2015 design......and interestingly enough I was more comfortable in them but my 5' wife was not. She actually LIKES the smaller 2015 feel.....for her.

Maybe have the cooling checked for problems on your 2013.... it was only after the TED design was modified in '15 that REAL issues emerged. BTW, cooling seats will always be "relative" unless they are fed from the actual AC unit, IMHO.....

Personally, I liked the seats better in my 08.

While I have no heating issues in the 13 seats, the cooling does not discharge out the back area as it is supposed to do. (Verified this with Ford)

Yes regarding your statement about having the cooling checked in my 13, I am assuming you mean the actual AC system, yes my system is under performing and the dealer has failed to repair it and Ford via resources here, has done nothing for me. Last conversation with the dealer was that they were getting with Ford. Never heard back from them. They don't respond to emails or letters either.

Regarding the seat cooling, I'm not talking about the actual temp coming from the seats..

but the upper also doesn't get hot. AND the upper is also the piece replaced when the cooled seat section doesn't work

gonna have to call and talk w/ the service advisor

of course part is backordered till end of next week
Back at the dealer to replace the lower blower motor pass. side that doesn't heat.

at a min. 2 more trips, when it gets hot enough to diagnose the non-cooling seats, If I don't get tims fix first.

I signed the petition awhile ago with comments as well. One of the many problems I have had with my truck was the hard 5->4 down shift. I supposedly had the hard down shift from 5-4 TSB done. Guess what, yesterday it did it again. I thought my tailgate dropped down.

What is funny is that when they "flashed" it to fix the hard down shift it supposed reset my steering wheel heating option. You know the two heat settings that only the dealer can change. WTF?!

Bright side, is that I will be a more through tester when buying another car in the future.

I got the TSB done for the hard downshift also, Ive had better results it seems. Ive only had that hard downshift once since (its been a month). Its been downshifting faster it seems than before. Plus I think I'm getting very slightly better gas millage (~0.30 MPG more).

I had the hard down shift TSB done within days of it coming out. I haven't had it happen since, and transmission has been shifting very nice. Knock on wood...

Anyone have different results than negative from the most current seat TSB 15-0154? Wondering if that exhaust tube Ford applies works.
