So they installed the part for the updated TSB or the part from the original TSB even knowing that it's no longer the right part?

Or is this just another dealer BS story like the last updated TSB turned out to be?

First TSB hasn't even been out for a short time, let alone long enough to convince a Corporation to spend even more money updating it. Just another dealer BS story for sure.

They just can't seem to figure anything out. They love to tell me that "that's normal" or "that's how it's supposed to be."

Chris take it to Prestige Ford in Garland. My truck was the first one they did and we had no issues with parts or the work itself. It took one day. The service manager was going to do his next and that was a couple of weeks ago. Talk to Tim Dozzi (Service writer). He's aware of the TSB and knows what to order.

Not a clue but they know it will be coming back if I'm not happy plus to do the other side. At least they replaced the cowl due to the loose weather stripping

I can't believe we are still hearing these bad dealer stories. What the Hell is wrong with these dealers. Making Ford look very very very bad.

Yea they replaced my cowling twice. The first time they did just one side and botched that all up and then ordered the entire thing (both sides) and got it right the second go around.

What a wasted trip. They were were supposed to (in order of importance to me) apply the cooling seats tsb, hard downshift tsb and the acc recall. Well the first two didn't get done, hard the wrong parts for the cooling seats, told me my truck didn't qualify for the hard downshift tsb but they did apply the updated ACC recall which they had already fixed a while back. Kept it all damn day just for that. But they did give me a rental.

Does anyone have a link to the updated TSB? I'd like to know what was updated and what the new part looks like.
