When I called and requested help there was none provided. They basically told me to pound sand. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told they had to call me. Supervisor called and again refused to help. Supervisor said there was no one higher than her??? Astounded at the lack of support from FORD, both at the dealership and so-called "customer service". I love the truck, but not sure I can deal with a company that is not willing to support its customers.

Just had the repair done today really noticed the cooling working on the back of the seat. It is incredibly loud though at the highest setting. I thought there was radio static coming through my sound system.

My daughter always asks what that noise is when I have the seat backs turned on...It doesn't matter if it is heat or cool...The noise drives her nuts.

As many of you know, TWAKEFIELD and I were the "pilot" installs for the TSB before it was announced. We worked quite well with the Ford Seat Complete team that own all the seat designs for Ford platforms, including F-150. A few weeks ago I had a heart attack and have been "laying low" until after a simple bypass surgery corrects one remaining issue....scheduled next Tues.....then good as new....hopefully.

I talked with our contacts about the "nationwide parts shortage" as related to the TSB and was told there is NOT a shortage....hence some of you can get the TSB within days while others cannot.....I suspect dealer communications issue vs. REAL shortage.

I have tried using the leverage we had to talk to very senior folks within Ford regarding the terrible Customer Service, Communications with owners/Forum Members/dealers and have been assured the right person(s) would call me.....so far crickets!! There IS someone higher when you need to escalate an issue and stonewalling and showing an unwillingness to address valid issues just does not cut it IMHO.

I have not given up and will not.....I know how to be a real PITA when I need to.....smile.....

The seat blowers have always sounded loud to me, actually personally I thought they sounded louder before having the TSB done than now.

The seat fans are louder now because they are sucking air up through a straw now and before they were just sucking to an open area.

Yes AZPlatinumEB I do believe that Ford has a Major Dealer problem as most of the dealers out there suck and I have said before your warranty is only as good as your dealer you go to. So if you plan on buying an ESP think twice before you spend thousands on an inferior product (dealer dependent).

My dealer started out pretty bad until they figured out that I was going to voice my word to there web site and all the bosses up the chain. It worked and I am happy with them now and not scared to go back and start it with them again if needed.

Default Not pleased with Ford or my dealership

Had my seats done Tuesday. The passenger side appears to be functioning. However the driver side will turn on once and does not cool. Then if I turn it off it will not come back on. Dealership doesn't seem to know much. Had several other issues that they were not capable of fixing either.

AZPlatinumEB, take care of yourself first and we'll worry about our trucks, thanks to you and Tim for everything.

Part of the TSB is replacing the fake radio engine sound with the fake A/C blower sound to give the effect of better cooling
