Default Cooling Seat TSB - Further Modifications

OK all I wanted to do a poll and get some feedback.

A lot of people are starting to get my parts installed and be pleased with the results. The trouble is that once the TSB sock is installed there is no way to reverse it. So most 2016 seats are stuck with the TSB and go not do my intake with hard pipes.

Here is the question. If you had the TSB sock and wanted better performance because the sock pinches down and restricts flow would you be willing to cut the sock?

I have been playing with ideas on a fix and think I have a decent plan but want some feedback on this before I go to far.

Tim I'll beta test... Or buy it if needed.

I have a sock on both seats so I'll just do the driver's seat first and if it doesn't work as good as you think it will I can always switch the TEDs around and let my wife sit on the warm seat as she doesn't care as much as I do about wanting to be cool.
Same plan might work for the 2016's that only have a sock on the driver's seat.

Both my seats seem to cool to the point I need to shut them off....
Is this a problem all face or just some? Confused? I know it's not 100 degrees yet, but it is 75 in my truck when I turn them on?

Thx

Without the intake sock the seat back will actually start to get hot after being on for awhile. They all start off cooling just fine for the first 20 minutes or so.
Some turn them off before this happens as their butt is getting cold. Others like me need the seat to cool us long term as wife doesn't like the cabin as cool as we do.

It all depends on what you are looking for as far as being cool I guess.

so, I haven't read all 80+ pages of the cooling thread... Do I get TSB done first, or just get Tims fix without TSB?

Just seen this - I thought was interesting. fyi

If I could do it over again I would skip the TSB and get Tim's intake and exhaust kits.

Tim, do you have a video of how to perform the repair with your designed fix?
