Console media compartment door stuck open
Just took delivery of my new lariat this week. Noticed that the little sliding door that covers the compartment in front of the shifter (the one with the usb ports and SD card) won't close, it's stuck open. I can push it forward about 1/4 inch, but it doesn't come closed. Anybody know a trick to fix this short of taking it to the dealer for dashboard tear down?

Check to make sure that the trim piece directly above the door is snapped in completely. Had this problem on a rental Lariat and I found that the slider door was rubbing against the trim piece that wasn't seated properly and wouldn't close.
