Console Holster mount

I had a glock 22 I used to keep in the dresser drawer just like that before the days of kids in the house. One day, shut the drawer and "bang" went through the the 4 boards on the entertainment center and the bullet ended up on the carpet 1/2 expanded. Do yourself and anyone who rides in your truck a favor, put at least a cheap holster or a trigger guard over it. In an accident there is a good chance someone is going to get hurt. Just some love from one responsible CCW carrier to another.

What's the underside of the 15's console like compared to the 14's.
I have a versa carry holster that clips into the phone clip. It still clears the tray.
It also can be drawn and the holster will stay in place.
If the lid is the same of course...

Versa carry is NOT a holster and it's stupid dangerous....nobody should even consider using one they are such a ignorant idea.....
Nothing like not having your trigger protected and shoving a hunk of plastic down your barrel...that's just begging for bad things to happen....

I know there are several threads on the forum dealing with mounting a pistol, and I'm not trying to start any political conversations! Just wonder if there is anyone else out there who might have found a solution that will help me. In my previous F150 (2012 Platinum) I had a nice holster mounted to a piece of 1x material that fit snugly under the lip of the console. Provided convenient lockable and safe storage when necessary without drilling holes or otherwise disfiguring the console. My new 2015 console doesn't have the "lip". That eliminates my previous installation method as an option. Wondering if anyone has come up with an ingenious "no holes drilled" option for mounting a holster in the 2012 console.

Being mouthy here only reaches a few. Your efforts would be better served elsewhere.
And how do how you how it works..because you bought one, along with the other 1.3 million sold.

Hit a nerve eh......shame your emptionally attached to a POS cheap dangerous hunk of plastic and can't learn...
It's a stupid hunk of plastic, total junk and dangerous junk at that.
No I did not buy one, no I will not buy one, I'm smarter than the dumb people who buy one wasting money on something that does not cover the trigger and shoved a hunk of crap down the barrel, that in itself would tell any thinking person how dangerous they are, you NEVER EVER shove something down the muzzle of your carry gun....
As far as carrying a empty chamber excuse, that's another ignorant dangerous lie that displays lack of training on the persons part, a empty chamber in a handgun your carrying is like carrying a hammer and calling it a gun.....
