Thanks
I have seen these options in Forscan using my OBDLink MX but I have not tried them myself.

Just verifying the OBD below will work. Is there anything less expensive that will work?

The MX works.

The cheaper wired SX works as well, but shows limited options. But enough to get Nav and climate control. There are also members in the other thread getting it to work with 10 dollar Chinese clones.

I just completed installing the seat buttons on mine I already had the nav.
I used the $30.00 SX one and my laptop. Was worth the 30 bucks to get the buttons..

Only problem I had was for my truck the as built was

A&AA and A4D5 the instructions show AAA I had to use AAAA And the A6D7 for the check sum to be right and for it to install. Not sure if was my truck or the instructions are wrong.

I sort of wish I had gone with the WiFi MX and hope that I would of got one that worked OK so I could use my iPad, android phone or laptop.

First this is so far over my head and I admit it, but I want it done.

1.How do I find out if my truck is equipped with this? I have a 2016 XLT sport. It has the 8" touch screen.

2. Is there anyone on here in MN that has done this and want to earn some extra $$$

3. I have a programmer from MPT (I think) that I had for my 2011 5.0, will this work?

Im surprised the dealer did it. Most are idiotic and will say "we cant do it, it has to come from the factory" when in reality there is a big-@$$ tab on OASIS that says "SYNC" and the option to download the packages is right there

Thanks for pointing it out Bob. There might be a typo indeed that says AAA instead of AAAA.
