I had the reflector replaced about a month ago under warranty. I checked it again today, and this one is starting to do the same thing. I am going to talk to them tomorrow about putting in the LED set from the other models. I really don't want to keep dealing with this. I completely get that all vehicles will have problems now and the, but if they just keep replacing it with the same part and it keeps happening, well that would suck.

The day my dealer replaced it (with halogens) I swapped out the lights for LED (yes I know I sell LEDs, but what's that saying... The shoemakers kids have no shoes)

I too have this issue with my 2015 F150 (picked up in October 2015) and have 3,500 miles on it.

I think this is made worse if you do remote start (as these lights I believe turn on when your car is remotely started.

Going to try to see if the dealer will replace with LED module or give me credit and let me pay the difference towards it. Anyone have pics of what the LED 3rd Brake Light module looks like??

HOW this is not on Frods misspelled on purpose, amazes me. Melting pieces in a truck is not a priority. Melting = Fire, fire-= Lawsuit. Simple answer is just fix it. Unless a dollar is too much.
