Call for brochure, get $1000 certificate.

So I special ordered a 2015 F150 XLT Sport FX4 on July 22nd. I didn't put any money down nor am I committed. It is expected to arrive on either Aug. 30th or Aug. 31st (according to the dealer "give or take" a few days). I have the $1000 private cash offer certificate given to me by Ford and it has an expiration date of 8/31. With my luck, the truck will arrive on 9/1 or later based on my research of when orders are arriving at dealerships for these 2015 orders. If this happens, what recourse do I have? I was advised by Ford CS on this forum to call Ford Special Offers directly which I plan to do but curious if anyone else was in similiar situation. Also, wondering if I am getting a good deal here....$5,050 in rebates bring the unpaid balance due to $34,793. MSRP is $44,680. With the $1000 certificate it brings it to a total out the door price of $33,793. Thanks.
I tried calling and emailing to get a certificate. I never received anything in the mail or by email -- even checked all of my spam and trash folders to be sure. The first I knew about my $1000 cert was sitting in the business manager's office closing the deal. It was great news of course, but it never occurred to me to call Ford to see if there was extra money sitting there for me. It's probably for the best because had I known about it, I probably would have used it on a more expensive vehicle rather than pocketing the $1000!
But call them and ask about the limits on the cert. It may be that it will expire on 9/1 but the base rebates on the truck will increase at that point as well.
Hope it works out for you.

I did do this online requested brochure....once 2 weeks ago and recently again. I have the $1000 certificate via email from the first request and got another $1000 one in the mail w/brochure. I'm assuming you can't use both. Both have expiration dates of 8/31. No new certificate on 2nd request (36 hour period has passed). Where does it say on the cert. that it has a 2 week plus timeframe??

Same thing worked for me. Got $1,000 this time instead of $750. Offer expires Sept 4th though. My dealer is trying to get my truck and about 5 others here before then. They have all been awaiting shipment for over 3 weeks now. Talked to him on the phone again yesterday and he said he made them "hot" 2 weeks ago and still nothing. He is going to contact Ford again today. He was not very pleased with Ford to say the least.

That is along lines of what I just heard from them. I'm in northern NY and I guess I am not in the running for a rebate. Of course I'm sure marketing can probably see I have an order in and they don't need to "convince me" to pull the trigger. The lady knew my name and I did not have to give it to her so they pulled a file on me I'm sure.

I applied for literature via the Ford website a few weeks ago and I got a multipage brochure in the mail yesterday in which my $1,000 rebate was referenced on the last page (along with the promo code and redeeming instructions). Cool thing is my dealer called yesterday too and I took delivery of my ordered truck last night, the $1,000 rebate worked. So I got $1,500 + $500 + $750 + $1,000 just in Ford rebates on my Lariat.

I called the number and politely asked for some printed matter. The nice lady on the other end told me she'd send it out. I specifically asked about this certificate and she told me that they are set up by the marketing department in response to trends in geographical areas and can't be handled as individual requests.
Oh well. I'm a little bummed out because I am supposed to take delivery on my 2015 in 10 days (and the waiting is killing me!)
I've joined the forum--after lurking and learning for months--just to post that information so that my first post, if no others ever are, might be useful.

So the 2015 F150 XLT Sport FX4 (Supercab) is at the dealership....fortunately get to use the $1000 private cert since today is the last day. Dealer did give me an ultimatum saying that I would lose it if I didn't purchase today?! When I spoke to Ford CS, they informed me to "work it out with the dealer". Sort of feel some pressure even though there is no commitment on my end or their end for that matter....going from a 2012 Wrangler Sahara to a 2015 F150. Not sure if I should of went with the crew cab even though I feel like it is driving a bus. I know for resale value and most go with the crew cab. All said and done I will have to finance around $9700 for the F150 Supercab. Not sure If I will have another opportunity with these kind of deals on the 2015 F150?! Anyone been in a similar situation?

I was going to head out to the dealer to place an order and to had the $1,000 private certificate but noticed that it expired. Does anyone know if they would still honor it even though it's expired?

i was going to say, you get the rebate at sign-up not when you get the brochure, i found out the same way you did, when i was signing the paperwork
So I read this thread and called for my brochure.
The brochure never came -- now 10 days after I called.
But I bought a truck today. AFTER I agreed to a deal, the finance manager informed me I had an extra $1000 certificate.
I'm not sure this is great marketing by Ford, but anyone shopping should call for a brochure!
