I have the $1000 private cash offer certificate given to me by Ford and it has an expiration date of 8/31. With my luck, the truck will arrive on 9/1 or later based on my research of when orders are arriving at dealerships for these 2015 orders. If this happens, what recourse do I have? I was advised by Ford CS on this forum to call Ford Special Offers directly which I plan to do but curious if anyone else was in similiar situation. Also, wondering if I am getting a good deal here....$5,050 in rebates bring the unpaid balance due to $34,793. MSRP is $44,680. With the $1000 certificate it brings it to a total out the door price of $33,793. Thanks.
Yeah -- absolutely call Ford Marketing and talk to them some more. You said above they didn't issue a second certificate, but I'd ask what they have for you.

I tried calling and emailing to get a certificate. I never received anything in the mail or by email -- even checked all of my spam and trash folders to be sure. The first I knew about my $1000 cert was sitting in the business manager's office closing the deal. It was great news of course, but it never occurred to me to call Ford to see if there was extra money sitting there for me. It's probably for the best because had I known about it, I probably would have used it on a more expensive vehicle rather than pocketing the $1000!

But call them and ask about the limits on the cert. It may be that it will expire on 9/1 but the base rebates on the truck will increase at that point as well.

Hope it works out for you.

Where does it say on the cert. that it has a 2 week plus timeframe??
You have one offer sent to you 2 ways...

Same thing worked for me. Got $1,000 this time instead of $750. Offer expires Sept 4th though. My dealer is trying to get my truck and about 5 others here before then. They have all been awaiting shipment for over 3 weeks now. Talked to him on the phone again yesterday and he said he made them "hot" 2 weeks ago and still nothing. He is going to contact Ford again today. He was not very pleased with Ford to say the least.

The lady knew my name and I did not have to give it to her so they pulled a file on me I'm sure.
So went I into my dealer today to line up financials prior to anticipated delivery. To my surprise there is an additional $1000 available to me! Sweet! I didn't think it was going to work for me but I guess it did after all. Here is the hitch with this though. It has to be used with current incentives. I locked in July 13th with $2250 off lariat and ford financing. If my truck was here today id get $3250 in rebates. If I want to use the $1000 next month when the truck will most likely be in ill get the $1000 plus whatever next months rebate is. Its likely to stay the same or get better the dealer said. So I feel my deal is getting better. The ironic thing about this is that I originally was to order a lariat super cab but changed it to the crew cab when the rebate went up in July. Well they ended up ordering that truck as well somehow. That truck was on the dealer lot today. He said I could have it if I wanted it. I'm going to wait for the crew cab but it was killing me. I did get to sit in it. Cant wait!

I applied for literature via the Ford website a few weeks ago and I got a multipage brochure in the mail yesterday in which my $1,000 rebate was referenced on the last page (along with the promo code and redeeming instructions). Cool thing is my dealer called yesterday too and I took delivery of my ordered truck last night, the $1,000 rebate worked. So I got $1,500 + $500 + $750 + $1,000 just in Ford rebates on my Lariat.

Oh well. I'm a little bummed out because I am supposed to take delivery on my 2015 in 10 days (and the waiting is killing me!)

I've joined the forum--after lurking and learning for months--just to post that information so that my first post, if no others ever are, might be useful.
About three weeks after being told that I couldn't get a certificate, one came in the mail. Too bad I took delivery two weeks ago. Oh well. Still happy overall.

So the 2015 F150 XLT Sport FX4 (Supercab) is at the dealership....fortunately get to use the $1000 private cert since today is the last day. Dealer did give me an ultimatum saying that I would lose it if I didn't purchase today?! When I spoke to Ford CS, they informed me to "work it out with the dealer". Sort of feel some pressure even though there is no commitment on my end or their end for that matter....going from a 2012 Wrangler Sahara to a 2015 F150. Not sure if I should of went with the crew cab even though I feel like it is driving a bus. I know for resale value and most go with the crew cab. All said and done I will have to finance around $9700 for the F150 Supercab. Not sure If I will have another opportunity with these kind of deals on the 2015 F150?! Anyone been in a similar situation?

I was going to head out to the dealer to place an order and to had the $1,000 private certificate but noticed that it expired. Does anyone know if they would still honor it even though it's expired?

The brochure never came -- now 10 days after I called.

But I bought a truck today. AFTER I agreed to a deal, the finance manager informed me I had an extra $1000 certificate.

I'm not sure this is great marketing by Ford, but anyone shopping should call for a brochure!
