Hi Greg - yeah, I'm aware, and I'm thinking about it. I put that in the post just above. I was more interested in attachment points for the sides of the bed, up near the bed rail. I just watched the Decked installation video on YouTube for adding Core Trax rails to the deck, and I'll keep it in mind. Thanks!

My current line of thought is sections of Core Trax installed using aluminum rivet nuts. The shape of the bed sides pretty much rules out using a continuous track along each side. That recessed area at the front of the bed looks ripe for a track. I wonder if there's anything in there?

Sweet setup. I went with pivot boxes.

Got my Cap ordered though.

Maybe you can get some replacement rails from Pace Edwards? They have two covers that have the rail system built in for Yakima stuff. http://www.pace-edwards.com/ultragroove-metal

Yeah, that's a good option. It looks like they sell their Explorer Series rails separately. Thanks!

I got 4 e track beam pockets and spanned 2x4s between them and added an upright bike rack on top of those. Painted the 2x4s and pockets black and it looks like it came that way. I'll post pics this spring when I dig it out.

I use those beam pockets for a bunch of different cargo configurations.

Thanks. I'd heard that the e-track pockets have a lot of play--is that true?

There are holes in them to screw them to the 2x4s.

Yes, that I'm not worried about. Is there play between the e-track and the interface plate?

While we have not tried it yet, this system which is designed for motorcycles might be interesting. It would allow you to leave your front wheel on and it looks like you can add multiple wheel chocks to the rail: http://ccrsport.com/
