Oh wow I diddent realize that it would hold up to much heat. Guess I never really though of it either. I dont wanna take anything away, plastidip is an amazing product. I personally am I guess you could say a permanent fix kinda guy. To each his own, truck should look good once done!!

You may want to re-order.
I know it will take longer buy you can get closer to what you want.
i believe a 2015 platinum costs more than a 2015 Lariat FX-4.
I could be wrong?

hey- I know this is a real old thread, but was wondering how the pearlizer plastidip turned out to match the tri coat white on your platinum? I want to dip some parts of my 2010 platinum but don't want to use the regular white if it won't match right

I went with Line X to get rid the chrome on my truck. I bought a Lariat with the chrome package because I got a good deal on it and it was hard to find a non-chrome package Lariat with the options I wanted. I got the bumpers, fender flares, rocker panels, step bars, tow hooks, mirror caps, and door handles done with the premium so it will be nice shiny black for a long time. You can find black wheels for between $200-300, too. I've been looking for the right wheels as that is the next step for me. Here's what mine currently looks like.
