Default Black Trim Panel Finish

I noticed, pretty much from day one, that the circled panels in the pic below have an exceptionally bad finish. I'm not sure if this is common, but it drives me nuts. The rest of the truck looks great, with no paint swirls yet, but these black trim panels look awful. Even right after a wash. What would y'all recommend to do about this? Have Ford do something or take it somewhere to be repainted in something more substantial? It appears to me that the clear coat on these is almost non-existent. You can't really see what I'm talking about in the pic, it's more for reference.

Yeah mine has these swirls as well. Its from the dealer when they washed it after delivery. Only option is to have them replaced at your dime, unless you noticed it and said something before you took delivery of the truck.

Definitely didn't. Also, I'm not sure if anyone can tell, but the panel behind the rear passenger door handle is black, and the other 3 are gray lol. Ford knows and will be replacing somehow someway soon...

Haha yeah if they are mismatching then they defiantly need to be replaced. The swirls on mine aren't that bad but I may replace them my self in the future.

It's just the one odd black one. Assembly foul up I guess. I was thinking about calling a custom shop and asking them about a tough but glossy black finish they could apply. We'll see.

A lot of people like to use a vinyl wrap on the B pillar.
