Bi-Directional Remote Start vs Standard Remote Start
Whats the difference?
My truck is XLT that did NOT come with factory remote start, I added this kit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/15-thru-16-F...9U3RwK&vxp=mtr
It comes with a separate remote for the remote start. What I want to do is to get a key fob from an XLT with remote start where it is all in 1 key. Anyone done that?

Better question is:
Will this remote DL3Z-15K601-A work with the system I have installed? I believe it will but would like confirmation from someone who has done it. As I said above though, I'd prefer the OE key and have it all in one.
It appears to me "BI DIRECTIONAL" just means that the above key fob flashes green if your truck starts?!?!?

I have the bi directional and it does tell you when it's running. I doubt you can get it to work without the fob [ may be wrong] . My truck also had to be flashed by the dealer after the install.
