Default BFG KO2 Owners, What's Your MPG?

Looking at upgrading my tires and wheels and for sure want to go with the KO2's but I can't decide on 33" or 35". So if you have the KO2's please post your tire size and your MPG. Also post your leveling/ lift kit size and engine.

Don't forget that gears also play a big factor when upgrading your tires to a larger size.

Mine is even worse than that and I have 3.55 gears. My average now is 15.7 by the computer and even worse when I calculate it by hand (gallons used on the computer are always less than I put in). I still love it tho. It's a truck and I didn't expect to get awesome fuel mileage. Plus I think the tires look so much better than the factory Goodyear's that came on it.

The 3.73's really help with the bigger tires. I have a little stretch on the way home of about 6 miles of 55mph without stops. That helps my average some as well. I rarely do straight highway at 70+.

So would higher gears (3.55,3.73) be better for better gas mileage?

Higher gears aren't better for mileage in general but when you add bigger tires higher gears help get the truck moving easier and burns less fuel than a truck with lower gears. Think of it as when you pedal on a bike. If your gears are too low it's super tough to muscle your way up to speed vs if the gears are higher it's a whole lot easier to get moving. Same concept applies
